A new boat launch conveniently located on main street in the village of Solon is now in place and is handicap accessible. Another launch can be found on County Rd. A in the town of Solon Springs. This property also includes restrooms and a picnic area. Line

If you are looking for a fun-filled place to ride, Northwestern Wisconsin is the place to be! Numerous trails with varied terrain await enthusiastic riders.
The Forestry Department(pdf) oversees the development and maintenance of 300 miles of snowmobile and seasonal ATV trails. The Wild Rivers trail runs through Solon Springs and 104 miles from Douglas county into Washburn and Barron counties. north country trail *Hiking/Backpacking
Grab your walking sticks and hiking boots and set out to discover the beauty of the north woods. Views of the Brule and St. Croix headwaters highlight hikes along the historic portage trail. The North Country Trail . Bird Sanchuary *Bird & Wildlife Viewing
The Bird Sanctuary, officially known as the Douglas County Wildlife Management Area and located directly in Solon Springs. The 4,000 acre property is home to a number of birds and is one of the best sharp-tailed grouse habitats in Wisconsin. Other wildlife includes a timber wolf pack, black bear, coyote and more.
