Solon Springs is a small community in Northwestern Wisconsin. The area is surrounded with beautiful towering pines that extend to the doorsteps of the residential areas. A place where neighbors know one another. Where one encounters plenty of familiar faces at the post office, or in the grocery market.
The community is made up of two separate political entities, the Village of Solon Springs and the Town of Solon Springs. Located in the Duluth/Superior metro area.

As stated in the By-Laws, the Solon Springs Economic Development Commission was organized to support and develop the economic health of Solon Springs by allocating funds to projects that develop and attract industry, as well as foster business development, trade & tourism in the Town & Village of Solon Springs. The grant program was developed to specifically address the growth of tourism related visits to the Solon Springs community. Eligible projects can be either an event or attraction.
