Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, unless otherwise posted at 6:30 p.m. in the south meeting room of the Solon Springs Community Center.

News Nov 8, 2007 The state has approved a $50,000 project to develop an airport layout plan at the Solon Springs Municipal Airport. The state has approved releasing $1,250 in state funds for the project. The Solon Springs/Gordon Airport Commission is contributing another $1,250, and the Federal Aviation Administration is providing $45,500. The airport layout plan will provide a plan for improvements at the airport for the next 20 years, said Craig Butler, project manager with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The project is scheduled to begin before the end of this year and be completed by April. Facilities at the Solon Springs Municipal Airport include a 3,100-foot paved runway. The airport accommodates some 3,000 aircraft take-offs and landings each year.
